CEE’s most important logistics and supply chain management summit – TRANSLOG Connect 2013, will be held for the third time on 27-28 November 2013 at the Corinthia Grand Hotel Royal in Budapest, Hungary. As a truly cross-industrial business summit for transportation, logistics and supply chain professionals in the CEE region, the congress will be attended by over 500 participants from the entire region. Leading directors from all important players across numerous industries from automotive, electronics, oil & gas, heavy industry & steel, retail, food&beverage, FMCG, energy and beyond are attending each year to meet the key logistics, software, consultancy, transportation and warehousing service providers.
Over the two days, service providers will meet and interact with leading directors and industry experts through a number of pre-scheduled one-to-one business meetings and additional networking activities. Several weeks in advance of the congress, the TEG Meeting Scheduler is made available to all solution providers and delegates attending. Participants receive individualized passwords to access the website where they are able to select key presentations and pre-schedule one-to-one meetings. Through the Meeting Scheduler, all participants have the opportunity to create their own itinerary prior to the congress taking place.
This year, the Congress will be the stage for the first ever Central Eastern European Logistics and Supply Chain Management Award. The aim of the award is not only to celebrate excellence in logistics, but to encourage professionals to constantly raise standards and innovate in logistics and supply chain management, contributing to the development of CEE as a region. Manufacturers and retailers from all industry sectors as well as solution providers are welcome to apply with their most innovative projects and methods implemented in the region. Applications will be assessed by an independent jury and the winners will have the opportunity to present their projects at the congress.

Applications from all members of the industry are welcome in two categories – manufacturers and retail companies in the first one, while service providers (with a customer related project) in the second – until 1 October, 2013. Winners will be announced on the 27th of November, during the cocktail reception on the first day of the annual TRANSLOG Connect Congress.
