Growth in new registrations of vehicles for transport

 

As regards the carriage of goods, the increase was 9.4%, the total number being 41,155 registered vehicles. In the first half of 2014, 3,412 mopeds and motorcycles were registered, down 6.1 percent from the same period of 2013. Regarding cars, the first six months have brought an increase of 12.3% over the first half of 2013 total being 129,991 units. The most spectacular growth has occurred on buses and minibuses, 68.8% compared to the first half of 2013, namely 975 units.
