More than one kilometer per square kilometer of paved road have the following countries: France – 1,74 km, Denmark – 1,68 km, Czech Republic – 1.62 km, Austria and Italy – 1,61 km each. The third group of countries with over 0.5 kilometers of asphalt road per square kilometer is composed of: Hungary – 0.78 km, Slovenia -0.76 km and Germany – 0.63 km. The fourth group of countries with a lower density shall consist of: USA – 0,44 km, Croatia – 0.42 km, Bulgaria – 0.40 km and Estonia – 0,31 km. In the last group of countries that has the lowest density of asphalt roads per square kilometer are: Greece – 0,25 km, Finland – 0,15 km (which has a large area of uninhabited territory) and Romania – 0.11 km.
