Three years after the EU Strategy for the Danube Region

MEP Adriana Ticau, initiator and President of the Forum for the Danube in the EP, said: „For the implementation of the EU Strategy for the Danube region is essential that the development of strategic projects contained in the Danube Region Strategy Action Plan to be included in the Cooperation Agreement and Sectoral Operational Programme for the period 2014-2020 that the Commission and Member States are negociating. We want the European Commission to maintain the leadership on the implementation of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region and continue the support and coordination of member states in this field”.
