JobTransport, the first job fair for students and graduates of the Transportation University will take place on the 8-9th of November, in the halls of the University. Forty big companies, from the transportation field – along with logistics and connected fields, will attend the event but also job hunting companies and human resources consultants. „We have received positive feedbacks from our students, which have shown great interest in JobTransport. Through this fair we wish to get together potential employees with their employers. We hope that the students and graduates will satisfy the employer’s demands, and in their turn, the young men to be happy with the fair’s job offers”, says Felicia Niculae, project manager.
Attending JobTransport will be a beneficial experience for the students. „Basically they will have the chance to get a job or at least get on the short list of potential employers. I am sure that they will do well on their interviews, especially because along the years they have proven that they are well prepared and that they will be able to integrate into a company” says prof. Iulian Badescu, dean of the University of Transportation.
At JobTransport the candidates will be able to talk to representatives of big companies as Kuehne Nagel Group and TTS, but also officials of the RAR (Romanian Auto Registry).
Also, during presentations the attending companies will be able to offer information about themselves. Along with attractive workshops for students and sessions of CV guidance by career consultants, the organizing companies are also preparing a series of prizes and raffles. “Attending the fair can not only bring young men the job they dreamed about, but also a special prize. In the two days of the fair students will win through a lottery various prizes. There will be 100 euro vouchers for fixing their cars but also tickets to concerts, theaters or subscription to fitness gyms, as well as an online psychotherapy session or even a romantic dinner at Bucharest West Restaurant. “We’ll offer as a prize a car video camera” says Carmen Padure, project coordinator. Saturday, the second day of the fair, the mood will be set by a stand-up comedy act and a pantomime act.
JobTransport will be open Friday the 8th of November, between 10 and 18 o’clock, and Saturday, the 9th of November, from 10 to 14 o’clock.
