The Romanian Centre for the Training and Development of Naval Transport Personnel – CERONAV is starting the most important construction works in its history. Work has begun on the biggest project of CERONAV.
The investment objective “Education-Accommodation building and training pool” represents a 5063 sqm campus. The investment objective “Construction of PSI polygon and Helideck simulator” represents the most modern PSI polygon in Europe.
“This project will allow us to offer Romanian and foreign sailors training conditions at the highest world standards. At the same time, this emblematic building, represents an international recognition of CERONAV‘s professionalism and constant evolution”, said Ovidiu Sorin Cupșa, General Director CERONAV, IMO Maritime Ambassador.
Work has begun on the biggest project of CERONAV
The financing of the investment objectives is carried out from the own sources of CERONAV.
The value of the investment objective “Education-Accommodation building and training pool”, approved by GD 10138/2019, is 49.960.967 RON including VAT.
The value of the investment objective “Construction of P.S.I. Polygon and Helideck simulator” is 6.494 RON including VAT.
The new CERONAV campus aims to optimise the quality of training for shipping personnel. It will be equipped with specialised, state-of-the-art equipment and will consist of a building for education and accommodation in a S+P+4E building and a building containing a new training pool.
