The electric car charging station division of the American manufacturer Tesla has inaugurated a new charging area.

The Supercharger network of the American electric car manufacturer Tesla has expanded in Romania. This has reached nine areas intended for charging batteries for vehicles. Erdin Topor is Tesla Charging’s Deployment Manager for Southeast Europe. According to him, starting with February 2024, a new Supercharger station is operational in Buzău. It is located on Unirii Boulevard. The station has 12 charging points.
Tesla inaugurated a new Supercharger charging area in Romania
Currently, nine Supercharger charging areas are operating in Romania:
- two in Bucharest – Promenada Mall and Mega Mall
- Cluj-Napoca,
- Timisoara,
- Constanta,
- Sibiu,
- Craiova,
- Pitesti,
- Buzau,
Tesla sold 2,550 vehicles in Romania last year. The value is 20% lower than in 2023. Most of them were Model 3 (1,679 units), and Model Y (846 units), the rest being Midel X and Model S. In total, 8,457 cars of the American manufacturer circulate on the country’s roads.
