According to Renault Group data, the turnover recorded in the first nine months of 2024 amounts to 37.7 billion euros. There was an increase of 0.8% compared to the same period in 2023 and 3.7% at constant exchange rates. The Automotive perimeter contributed €33.7 billion, down 1.5% compared to the same period in 2023 and up 1.1% at constant exchange rates.
In the third quarter of the year, the French group’s turnover was 10.7 billion euros, up 1.8% compared to the same period in 2023 and 5.0% at constant exchange rates. The Automotive Perimeter contributed €9.3 billion, down 0.5% compared to the same period in 2023 and up 2.6% at constant exchange rates.
Taking these results into account, Renault officials reconfirm the financial outlook for 2024.
The financial result for the first nine months of 2024 was supported by a favorable development of all brands in the group. Renault ranks 3rd in Europe on the passenger vehicle (PV) market. The company is 1st on the VU (commercial vehicle) market and first on the French automotive market. The Clio model ranks 2nd in the ranking of the best-selling models in Europe, on all distribution channels.
Dacia ranks 9th in Europe on the passenger vehicle (PV) market. The company is on the European podium in terms of car sales to private customers. The Dacia Sandero is the best-selling model in Europe, regardless of the distribution channel. Alpine has recorded strong, double-digit growth since the beginning of the year, and is expected to launch new models.

This attractive and competitive range, composed of both electric vehicles and combustion and hybrid vehicles, demonstrates our ability to adapt regardless of the pace of transition to electric vehicles. Our range remains a key element of the group’s performance, along with cost reduction.,” said the French group’s chief financial officer, Thierry Pieton.
