Eazy Insurance announces the expansion of its shareholding by co-opting Autonom International. He will hold 20% of the company’s share capital, following a transaction signed on March 5, 2025. The transaction will become effective after the approval of the Financial Supervisory Authority (FSA) and other competent regulatory authorities, at which time the investment procedure will also be formally completed.
The agreement between the two parties underlines Eazy Asigurari’s growth strategy, which aims to strengthen its position on the insurance market by attracting strategic partners with extensive expertise. The Autonom Group, an integrated provider of mobility and financing services, thus confirms the potential and solid strategic direction of Eazy Asigurari, it is specified in the press release sent by the insurance company.

The Autonom Group, known for its expertise in the automotive industry and for its sustainable business model, becomes a shareholder of Eazy Asigurari as a portfolio investor. Although they will not have an executive involvement in the management of the company, the investors aim to support its development both through consistent capital contributions and through the know-how accumulated in the field of services.

In order to complete the transaction, the two companies were legally assisted by Bulboacă și Asociații, for Eazy Insurance, and bpv Grigorescu Ștefanică, for Autonom International, who coordinated the related legal aspects and ensured the contractual compliance of the association.

In September 2023, Eazy Insurance was authorized by the FSA to practice a wide range of insurance products, including RCA, CASCO, home insurance, health and civil liability insurance. The company has recently exceeded the threshold of 100,000 RCA contracts concluded since the start of activity in July 2024.
Currently, Eazy Insurance’s offer is available through an extensive network of accredited partners, with both online and offline operations, but also through its digital sales platform (self.eazyinsure.ro).
