Changi Airport in Singapore occupies the first position this year in the annual ranking of the best airports in the world – World Airport Awards, prepared by consultancy firm Skytrax, headlines Business Insider.
This ranking was made based on nominations received from the 12.85 million customers (110 nationalities). Entered in the competition fierce and „fought” for the top spots of the top 400 airports. The survey evaluated passenger satisfaction in relation to the 39 criteria relevant to an airport products and services, including check-in, arrivals, transfer, store, control, security, immigration and departure.
For the second consecutive year and for the fifth time in its history, Singapore’s Changi Airport ranked first in this top. Proof that the airport deserves to be in first place stands the fact that each year 46.5 million passengers step in. At Changi, travelers will have a long stopover – airport is built to give passengers a relaxing time between flights and is equipped with green spaces, outdoor pool and garden with butterflies, orchids and sunflowers.
