Zeekr and expands its presence in South-Eastern Europe in partnership with SEEAG. Starting this month, customers in Romania will be able to order three of the latest Zeekr models – the Zeekr 7X mid-size SUV, the Zeekr 001 shooting brake and the Zeekr X compact SUV.
„The launch of our brand in Romania, Slovenia, Croatia and Bulgaria will strengthen Zeekr’s presence in Southeast Europe and support our long-term sustainable development. Interest in electric vehicles is constantly growing in this region, and by working closely with our partner SEEAG, we can help accelerate the transition to electric mobility,” said Lothar Schupet, CEO of Zeekr Europe.

Zeekr is a brand of the Chinese group Geely. The brand uses the Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA) platform and develops its own technologies for batteries, battery management systems, electric motors and its own infrastructure that supports the EV supply chain.
For Europe, Zeekr carries out its research and development activity in its Gothenburg centers, with the company having similar activities in Ningbo, Hangzhou and Shanghai, where state-of-the-art engineering and design facilities are brought together. The brand has delivered more than 510,000 vehicles, including the Zeekr 001, Zeekr 001 FR, Zeekr 009 MPV, Zeekr X urban SUV, Zeekr 007, Zeekr 7X, Zeekr MIX and Zeekr 7GT. Zeekr has announced plans to expand into international markets and has an ambitious expansion plan for the next five years.
