Norwegian will connect the city of Cluj-Napoca with the capital of Denmark, Copenhagen, for the first time, from June 28, 2026,. The flights will be with two weekly frequencies, on Wednesdays and Sundays.

„We are proud to introduce our first direct flights between Cluj-Napoca and Copenhagen – a route not served before. This new connection will make it easier for the many people with connections between Transylvania and Denmark to visit family and friends. It will also create new opportunities for tourism and business in both directions. From Copenhagen, passengers will have access to more than 80 international destinations with Norwegian, while travelers from Scandinavia can now discover the cultural richness and beauty of Cluj and the Transylvania region,” says Sara Neergaard, Country Director for Norwegian in Denmark.
Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA will operate direct flights from Cluj-Napoca to Copenhagen starting next summer
In Romania, the airline also flies from Bucharest to Stockholm Arlanda and Helsinki until the end of October, and to Oslo, a route that will also be operated in the winter program.
Norwegian Air Shuttle is the largest airline in Norway. It employs around 4,700 people, operates an extensive network of routes connecting the Nordic countries to key European destinations. In 2024, Norwegian carried 22.6 million passengers and maintained a fleet of 86 Boeing 737-800 and 737 MAX 8 aircraft.
